Should I commute to college?

Jene Licausi: I think it would make more since to first see someone in student housing and see if there is a way for you to get roommates that you might find easier to cope with. If the student housing people tell you that you're stuck, commute.

Darren Heling: I do plan on talking to housing, but the dorms and apartments are usually full so I don't know if I'll be able to switch. Also, I plan on going home every weekend so I can continue attending my church. I'll talk to my parents about trying the commute for a week or two. The campus is very small and parking isn't a problem; also, I already have a parking pass since all students are required to purchase one if they have a car....Show more

Len Dalba: That's a great idea. Try the commute b4 u commit.

Zulema Baccam: I am sure you go home for some weekends so just stay over and see how it is driving in on Monday morning in time for classes. The other consideration is the parking situation and whether the! college has cheap parking passes for students and shuttle service to an from the lots they require you to use. A few parking tickets can eat up your transportation budget quick.

Tijuana Tatsak: If you are paying through loans commute.I'm in the same boat you are, this is my first semester and im getting the hell outta here next semester. its too expensive. But if your parents are paying you might want to stayIf you are doubting yourself though, maybe wait a little while longer or until the end of the semester to make your decision...Show more
