Dan Seen: That is daycare and if the people in charge of education knew that six year old children weren't being taught they would have this place shut down. Maybe you can make the difference for this "school" and make your own curriculum and actually teach them things.
Alane Antes: the most important time in a baby's life is from start to age 3. With both father and mom operating, and a huge quantity of unmarried moms, a good daycare hasn't ever been more suitable significant. children study via play. progression with blocks, portray, utilizing scissors, coloring, are ALL necessary to set taking off position for skills necessary for destiny training like blocks=complications fixing (math) ,scissors and coloring=handwriting,! etc. it truly is real alot of those daycares don't have instructors who comprehend toddler progression, and the price of commonly used events. Now I coach I coach at a daycare. I actually have my BS in training, so i do not fall into that classification. I coach 3 3 hundred and sixty 5 days olds, and performance to apply a curriculum, and state criteria. I even ought to continuously verify my scholars, and refer them for any delays or complications I see. have you ever considered what children want to entice close now for Kindergarten? WOW. i have worked in Kindergarten also and would inform you those children getting into under no circumstances being at a daycare or preschool lack social skills and are available in no longer understanding hues, shapes, abc's, counting etc....those are issues that they are REQUIRED to entice close earlier getting into Kindergarten now. Inge Mclaurine: its called "pre-school" because its wha! t you do before you are old enough to go to school. It's supposed to teach you how to socialize with other children and in a classroom. Kindergarteners should start having a structured learning plan and day. the whole point is to get them ready for school. The center you work at may just be misrepresenting themselves. That sounds like something the parents should know about. If I enrolled my children in a preschool I would expect more than play time out of it. Also, possibly the state business licensing board. If they are calling it a preschool and are running it as a daycare....Show more

George Dingeldein: Lots of daycares do have lesson plays and call themselve preschool. They wanna call it school because it sounds better. Daycare classrooms with have 24 or so kids in their classrooms. Actual preschools usually only have about 10 kids.
Debora Soliani: Wow! Are you from the USA? That's crazy if you only need HS to work at a preschool! Here (Canada) you cant work at a simple daycare without having minimum ECE!!
Tillie Wynott: I can't believe this. My daughter is 5 and is in kindergarden in a public school. Her day is packed with learning...she can read and write. when she was in preschool..the 3 hours a day she learned alot...there was a short period of play time for legos and barbie...then the playground for the last 15 minutes of class. They don't teach any accidemics???? not sure what kind of parents wouldn't realize or notice that. You sadly do not need a degree in education to be a preschool teacher or wor! k at a preschool. Anyone can open up a preschool. Kind of agrivating ! because they can and do charge alot of money....Show more
Arlen Decorte: Daycare centers call themselves "preschools" so they can charge extra and make parents think they are getting something for all that money. Money making ploy, pure and simple.
