Cecil Derenzi: Preschool teaching has a wide range of jobs, ranging from moms who have home daycare centers to PhD's at fancy private schools. Many preschools in CA require only 6 units of ECE to work, but you'll be an assistant rather than a teacher. The more education you get, the better off you'll be. You could start with an AA in ECE and be an assistant teacher. You have to look at the big picture.If your ultimate goal is therapy you may want to start working sooner so you can finance your schooling.
