Clare Hoard: there are different variations,there are extended families who live in the same house, families with adopted children, families where the parents are homosexual. the traditional family is a mother and a father and their children in a house.
Hipolito Rightmire: Society doesn't recognize them as a traditional family because its simply not tradition. But I'm sick of people saying people are wrong or not normal simply because they're different. Just because those types of familys aren't traditional, doesn't mean they can't function properly in society.
Sharolyn Claybourn: Non-traditional families are not your standard mom, dad, kids and dog in the back yard, kind of family. A non-traditional family is (here's some examples): two moms or two dads (gay parents raising their children) or a single parent raising kids, or if a person lives with their grandparents, or uncles, aunts, etc.Some people are against non-traditional families because they don't fit! in the so called "mold". When in reality non-traditional families are just as good as any other type. As long as there is love in the family it really doesn't matter if it's traditional or non-traditional....Show more
