Stanton Valdivia: I know it seems to be a waste of time, however, general education courses do have value. Perhaps, in the future, you might have the occasion to have a conversation or discussion with someone and it turns to something dealing with an area of western civilization that you may not have any expertise. A class of this type would give you an opportunity to discuss any events involved. Good luck!gatita_63109...Show more
Nicolas Cooley: As a history major, I felt the same about having to take advanced math courses. I already knew the basics of math from grammar and high school, so what was the point? The answer, I was told, was that math education helps train the synopses in your brain to think logically. Perhaps it's true. I don't know. Although you can certainly get by in your engineering career without knowing history, as a human being I think it's important to know a bit about history. Knowing where we came from can only enrich our lives and help us ! to be better people. People with knowledge other than what's essential to their careers are more interesting, multi-dimentional people. There's nothing more boring than talking to someone at a party who knows a lot about one thing and little about anything else....Show more
Horace Escue: Are you White...that is, a person of wholly European descent? If you are, you absolutely need to learn about and take pride in the accomplishments of the ancestors of our great race.Think of it this way: Your ability to go to a place of higher-learning and to learn COMPUTER ENGINEERING is a direct result of what our European ancestors made possible. Today, so many people seem to only think they should study if it "gets me money". Do not embrace that way of thinking, which until recently was quite alien to White peoples. Choose to be a higher example of Man and a well educated citizen of your people.Do not worship ignorance. That is the thinking of slaves. You don't want to be a ignoran! t, rootless, soulless, easily-manipulated slave with no unders! tanding of your own race's historical accomplishments, do you? Get some pride, White man. With historical knowledge of your own people, you will start to feel pride that you have been forbidden or that has been discouraged in today's dumbed-down,"Johnny Can't Think", anti-White "multi-cultural" society. In fact, if I were you, I would be a bit concerned about the fact that so many of the folks teaching classes about White Western History and Culture at universities are non-Whites (including disproportionate numbers of Jewish professors) and/or Marxists who teach it with a barely concealed hostility toward our people. Anti-White teachings dominate at universities across America and the West. Learn your history and stand up for your people against those who hate your race and seek to serve the global elite by replacing White high-tech professionals with Third Worlders who will do computer engineering cheaper. Of course, they call it "outsourcing" and giving immigrants "oppor! tunity", but it comes from replacing White folks like you, and then you are told to just accept it as your fate and your payment for "sins of the past"--and if you resist and complain in any way "you're a racist". Ah...you see? It IS related in a way that directly effects you in the wallet, but also in so many other ways!...Show more
